Bio
Luigi Cigarini does research in Physical Chemistry and Physics of Nanostructures at the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), he teaches "Advanced Nanostructures" at the same University. His studies include contributions to a first principles approach for the reciprocal interaction between electronic structure and lattice vibrations in 2D and layered materials. He obtained his PhD (2018) in Physics and Nanosciences from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy), collaborating with the CNR-NANO S3 Research Center (Modena, Italy), contributing in addressing the theoretical description of thermoelectric responses in organic and hybrid materials. He obtained his Master’s Degree (2014) in Chemical Sciences from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). //– CV –
